Cisco Meraki
Cisco Meraki managed services and support
Meraki makes networks easier to manage from one cloud dashboard, but someone still has to design it well, keep it secure and act on what it shows. Our engineers plan, install and manage Meraki security appliances, wireless, switches and cameras around the clock.

Why Meraki needs an owner
Cloud-managed, but not self-managing
Cisco Meraki puts security appliances, wireless, switches and cameras into a single web dashboard, with firmware updates delivered from the cloud and monitoring built in. That makes it a strong fit for organizations with many sites and small IT teams.
The dashboard still needs decisions. Someone has to design the VPN and SD-WAN topology, set up VLANs and group policies, choose which security features to license and enable, and respond when an alert fires at 2 a.m. Our Meraki support covers those decisions and the day-to-day work behind them.
Cisco Meraki solution overview
The Meraki product lines we deploy and manage
Each product line runs independently, and they work well together in one dashboard. For a longer walk-through, read our Cisco Meraki solution overview.
MX security and SD-WAN
Cloud-managed security appliances with stateful firewall, site-to-site and client VPN, multiple WAN uplinks with failover, and SD-WAN policies that steer applications across links. Advanced threat features such as intrusion prevention and content filtering depend on licensing.
MR wireless
Cloud-managed access points with enterprise authentication, guest access, group policies by user and device type, and built-in RF and application visibility. Newer Cisco access points can also be managed in the Meraki dashboard.
MS switching
Access and aggregation switches configured from the dashboard, with VLANs, port policies, event logs and monitoring in the same place as the rest of the network.
MV smart cameras
Security cameras with on-device processing and storage, managed and viewed from the same dashboard, which reduces the separate video infrastructure you need to run.

Meraki Enterprise vs Advanced Security
Choosing the right MX license
The most common question we get about Meraki is which MX license to buy. In general terms, the Enterprise tier covers core firewall, VPN, SD-WAN and traffic shaping, while the Advanced Security tier adds threat protection such as intrusion detection and prevention, content filtering and malware protection backed by Cisco Talos threat intelligence.
Licensing rules and tiers change over time, so we review the current options against your risk, compliance needs and budget before you buy. Read Cisco Meraki Enterprise vs. Advanced Security: which do I need? for the detail.

Meraki and Umbrella
Adding DNS-layer security with Cisco Umbrella
Cisco Umbrella blocks connections to malicious domains at the DNS layer, before a device reaches a harmful site, and it protects users on and off the corporate network. Umbrella policies can be applied to Meraki MR access points and MX appliances from the Meraki dashboard.
Combined with MX intrusion prevention and malware events, Umbrella gives earlier blocking and better context for investigations. See pairing Cisco Umbrella with Meraki for how the integration works.
How it works
From first site to fully managed Meraki
Assess and design
We review your sites, traffic and security needs, or audit your existing Meraki organization, and produce a design and license recommendation.
Stage and install
We build configuration templates, stage hardware and install each site with a tested cutover plan.
Secure and tune
We enable and tune the security features you have licensed and set up alerting that reaches our team.
Manage 24/7
