Managed network

Managed network services and SD-WAN for multi-site enterprises

We monitor and manage your LAN, WAN, wireless and SD-WAN around the clock. Our engineers catch problems early, plan every change and treat the network as the security boundary it is, across every office, plant and store you run.

  • 24/7 monitoring from our network operations team
  • LAN, WAN, wireless and SD-WAN in one service
  • Security escalation to our MDR team

Why it matters

The network is where outages and attacks show up first

Managed network services cover the monitoring, maintenance and change management that keep your network available and secure. For an organization with many sites, that means dozens or hundreds of switches, access points, firewalls and circuits that all need firmware, configuration and attention.

Generic providers tend to watch for devices going offline. We look at how traffic is flowing, which configurations have drifted and which devices are out of support, because those are the conditions that lead to both outages and breaches. When something looks like an attack instead of a fault, our security operations team is already involved.

What’s included

LAN, WAN and SD-WAN services, managed end to end

How it works

How we take over your network

1

Discover

We inventory devices, circuits and configurations, map how sites connect and document what we find.

2

Baseline and fix

We set monitoring thresholds, back up configurations and correct urgent issues such as unsupported firmware or open management interfaces.

3

Operate 24/7

Our network operations team monitors, works tickets and carries out planned changes through one process.

4

Plan ahead

Service reviews cover trends, capacity and end-of-life hardware, so upgrades are planned before they become emergencies.

Co-managed network

Extra hands for your network team

If you already have network engineers, we can cover after-hours monitoring, handle routine changes or take a specific platform off their plate. Your team keeps ownership of the architecture and the roadmap.

When you need a larger change, such as an SD-WAN rollout or a data center refresh, our network design and professional services engineers deliver the project and hand it to the same team that runs it day to day.

  • After-hours monitoring and response
  • Routine moves, adds and changes
  • Firmware and lifecycle management
  • Project delivery handed straight into operations

Case study

Network re-architecture and 24/7 management for a multi-national retailer

A retailer adding e-commerce to its stores had limited visibility into network activity, ineffective perimeter tools and a small team stretched across locations.

We re-architected the network, built an efficient WAN and a store-in-a-box design, then took on 24/7 management of the network alongside a managed SOC.

  • Time to repair network issues cut from days to minutes
  • One view of network and security across every store
  • New locations deployed in days, not weeks

FAQ

Managed network services questions

Managed network services are an ongoing agreement in which a provider monitors, maintains and changes your network for you. That usually covers switches, routers, wireless, firewalls and WAN circuits, along with documentation and reporting.

SD-WAN uses software to route traffic across several internet and private links based on application needs and link health. Managed SD-WAN means we design the policies, deploy the edge devices and run the service day to day, including onboarding new sites and handling link failures.

Our managed services team monitors client networks 24/7 under agreement and works closely with our security operations team. Alerts are triaged by engineers who know your environment, and anything that looks like an attack goes straight to security.

Usually, yes. We support common enterprise platforms including Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE and Ubiquiti / UniFi. If some hardware is out of support, we will tell you, explain the risk and help you plan replacement.

Cost is driven by the number of sites and devices, the platforms involved, the level of monitoring and whether we fully manage the network or co-manage it with your team. After a scoping call we give you a fixed monthly proposal.

We are headquartered in San Diego and manage networks for organizations across the US. See managed IT services in San Diego for local details.
