Why Triden

Enterprise managed IT, without the help desk treadmill

Many managed service providers are built around a small-business help desk. Our managed IT services are built for organizations with real infrastructure: multi-site networks, next-generation firewalls, virtualized servers, hybrid cloud and compliance requirements that someone has to prove.

Because our managed services team works next to our security operations and incident response engineers, patching, configuration changes and access reviews are treated as security work. Problems that start as an outage and turn out to be an attack reach the right people quickly.

Some clients hand us the whole environment. Others keep a strong internal team and use us for after-hours coverage, specialist skills or the systems nobody has time for. Both models run on the same process and documentation.

Managed services

What our managed IT services cover

Start with the layer that needs the most attention. Most clients add others once we know the environment.

Co-managed IT services

Fully managed or co-managed, your choice

Co-managed IT services work well when you have an IT leader or a small team who owns the roadmap and needs depth behind them. We agree who owns what, share ticketing and documentation, and cover the hours and skills your team can’t.

Fully managed is the better fit when IT operations are pulling your people away from the business. We take on monitoring, maintenance, change management and reporting, and you keep the decisions.

How responsibilities split

A written responsibility model

Every engagement starts with a clear matrix of who does what, so nothing falls between teams.

  • Monitoring and alert handling
  • Patching and firmware windows
  • Change approval and rollback
  • Escalation paths and after-hours coverage

How it works

From onboarding to steady operations

1

Assess and document

We inventory your networks, systems, cloud and tooling, document how things are built and flag the risks we find on the way in.

2

Stabilize

We fix urgent gaps first: missing patches, unsupported firmware, weak firewall rules, backups that have never been tested.

3

Run 24/7

Our engineers monitor and manage the environment around the clock, working tickets and planned changes through one process.

4

Review and improve

Regular service reviews cover incidents, trends and a short list of improvements, tied to your budget and roadmap.

Case study

Managed services and a managed SOC for a multi-national retailer

A growing retailer with limited network visibility, fragmented tools and a lean IT team needed a stable infrastructure for its stores and e-commerce operations.

After a detailed assessment we re-architected the network, built an efficient WAN and took on 24/7 management of the network alongside a managed SOC, with one view across every location.

  • Time to repair network issues cut from days to minutes
  • Unmanaged third-party systems on the network found and addressed
  • A store-in-a-box IT design that deploys in days, not weeks

FAQ

Managed IT services questions

Managed IT services means an outside team takes ongoing responsibility for running parts of your technology, such as networks, firewalls, servers, endpoints and cloud. Instead of calling for help when something breaks, you get continuous monitoring, maintenance and planned improvement under an agreement.

With fully managed IT, we run the day-to-day operations and you keep the decisions. With co-managed IT, your internal team keeps some responsibilities and we cover the rest, often after-hours monitoring, specialist engineering or specific platforms. We document the split before we start.

Yes, for clients under a managed services agreement. Monitoring and alert handling run around the clock, and planned work is scheduled in maintenance windows you approve. Existing clients reach us through the client portal.

Yes. Microsoft 365 managed services can include user and license administration, security settings, Exchange Online and backup. We usually review your Microsoft 365 and Entra ID configuration during onboarding, since that is where many security gaps sit.

Price depends on what is in scope: the number of sites, network devices, firewalls, servers, endpoints and cloud accounts, plus the level of coverage and whether the model is fully managed or co-managed. After a scoping conversation we give you a fixed monthly proposal.

No. We are headquartered in San Diego and manage environments for organizations across the US. If you are local, see our San Diego managed IT services page.
