Backup and disaster recovery
Disaster recovery as a service and managed backup
We design, run and test the backups and recovery sites that bring your systems back after an outage, a failed upgrade or a site loss. Recovery targets are set with you, immutable copies protect against tampering and every plan is tested before you need it.

Three-minute recovery site
For a golf manufacturer, with virtually no data loss
Immutable copies
Backups that ransomware and insiders cannot alter
Tested on a schedule
Scheduled recovery tests with written results

Why it matters
A backup you have never restored is a guess
Many organizations find out their backups do not work at the worst possible moment. Jobs have been failing quietly, a critical server was never added, or restoring everything would take days longer than the business can wait.
Our disaster recovery and backup services start from two numbers for each system. The recovery time objective (RTO) is how long it can be down. The recovery point objective (RPO) is how much data you can afford to lose. We design backup and replication to meet those targets, monitor every job and prove it with regular tests.
What’s included
DRaaS, backup as a service and managed backup
Disaster recovery as a service
Replication of critical servers to a recovery site in the cloud or a second data center, with failover you can start in a planned, tested way.
Backup as a service
Managed backups of servers, virtual machines, databases and file shares to local, cloud or hybrid storage.
Immutable backups
Backup copies that cannot be changed or deleted for a set period, kept separate from your production credentials.
Microsoft 365 backup
Backup of Exchange Online mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data, with item and mailbox level restores.
Monitoring and management
Every backup and replication job monitored, with failures investigated and fixed by our managed services team.
Recovery testing
Scheduled restore and failover tests against your RTO and RPO targets, with a written report after each one.
How it works
From recovery targets to a tested recovery plan
Set recovery targets
We agree on RTO and RPO for each critical system, ideally using the results of a business impact analysis.
Design
We design backup, replication and recovery site options that meet those targets within your budget, on premises, in the cloud or both.
Deploy and protect
We implement backups and replication, set up immutable copies and separate the backup environment from everyday admin access.
Monitor and test
We monitor every job, fix failures and run scheduled recovery tests so you know the plan works.
Deliverables
What you get
Case study
Disaster recovery for a major golf manufacturer
After a spin-off from its parent company, a global golf manufacturer needed a secure network and a disaster recovery design that could keep its manufacturing and distribution running through any disaster, on budget and with limited staff.
We designed and deployed a highly available disaster recovery site using existing and new infrastructure, protected the data crossing the WAN and provide 24/7 managed network and security services.
Ransomware
Backups are your last line against ransomware
Attackers look for backups first, because deleting or encrypting them makes a ransom harder to refuse. Immutable copies, separate credentials and monitoring of the backup system itself keep your recovery options open.
We added immutable backups for a Southern California accounting firm so that ransomware could not compromise its business continuity. If an attack does happen, restoring cleanly also takes containment and investigation. That work is covered by our ransomware and cyber recovery team.
